These terms govern use of the Room4Quiz Android app and related Firebase services. By using the service, you agree to follow these terms. Publishing a public template is an affirmative acceptance of the current Terms and Community Rules.
Eligibility and accounts
People under 16 may use only the limited guest-player experience. Account creation or linking, room hosting, public-template actions, purchases, the Shop, rewarded advertising and analytics-enabled features are restricted to people aged 16 or older. You must provide accurate age information, use a suitable player name, protect access to your Google account and take responsibility for activity performed through your account.
Using Room4Quiz
Room4Quiz grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for lawful quiz play and creation. You must not disrupt rooms or services, bypass access or purchase controls, manipulate votes or reports, automate abusive requests, probe another user’s data, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or use Room4Quiz for illegal, deceptive, emergency, safety-critical or regulated decisions.
Your templates and license
You keep ownership of content you create. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. When you publish a template, you give Room4Quiz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, display and distribute that template within the service, and to screen, review or remove it for operation and moderation. This license ends when the public template is deleted, except for limited backups, reports, moderation records, legal obligations and material already lawfully retained by service providers.
Community rules for public templates
Public template names, descriptions, questions and answers must not contain or promote:
- child sexual abuse or exploitation, sexual content, or content intended for sexual gratification;
- harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or encouragement of violence or self-harm;
- personal, confidential or identifying information shared without permission;
- illegal or dangerous activities, scams, fraud, malware, or instructions intended to cause harm;
- spam, deceptive behavior, impersonation, manipulated engagement, or repeated irrelevant material;
- copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights violations; or
- content that otherwise violates Google Play policy or applicable law.
Do not submit false, retaliatory or coordinated reports. Reports should identify the most relevant reason and provide useful details when requested.
Moderation and enforcement
Room4Quiz uses automated wording checks, user reports and authorized human review. Users can report templates, hide templates and block creators. Moderators may review the full reported template, report reasons and supplied details, and may keep or permanently delete the template. We may limit reporting, restrict publishing or account access, preserve evidence, or take other proportionate action against repeated or serious violations. Automated checks reduce obvious abuse but cannot guarantee that all objectionable content is found.
For an appeal or copyright/privacy complaint, email room4quiz.support@gmail.com with the template name or code, the account email where applicable, and a concise explanation. We may request information needed to verify the request.
Purchases, subscriptions and Shop Points
Digital purchases are processed by Google Play at the price and currency shown before purchase. Creator Pro automatically renews for the period shown by Google Play until cancelled there. Cancelling stops future renewal but normally leaves benefits available through the paid entitlement period. Deleting Room4Quiz or your Room4Quiz account does not cancel the Google Play subscription.
Shop Points are digital service credits, not money, and cannot be transferred, sold or redeemed for cash. Purchased or rewarded points do not expire under the current service rules. Points can be reserved for a waiting room and are spent when its game starts; reserved points are returned if that waiting room is deleted or expires before starting. Creator Pro may display Shop Points as unlimited while eligible subscription access is active; the stored balance remains and becomes applicable again when that access ends. Refunds, cancellations and statutory consumer rights are handled under Google Play rules and applicable law. Fraud, chargebacks or revoked purchases may result in entitlement or point adjustments.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep rooms, purchases and saved content available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features, limits and point costs may change for future use. We will not remove rights already required by applicable consumer law. Back up important quiz content separately where practical.
Suspension, deletion and ending use
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access, or remove content, for serious or repeated violations, security risks, fraud, legal requirements or risks to other users. Where appropriate, we will consider context and available appeal information. Account deletion is permanent and does not cancel an external Google Play subscription.
Liability and consumer rights
Room4Quiz is provided for entertainment and general quiz use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for user-created content, indirect losses, or interruptions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel when required.
