These terms govern use of the Room4Quiz Android app and related Firebase services. By using the service, you agree to follow these terms. Publishing a public template is an affirmative acceptance of the current Terms and Community Rules.
Service operator

Eligibility and accounts
Room4Quiz is intended for people aged 13 or older. The bundled privacy update blocks entry below 13; earlier app versions may still permit younger guests. Players aged 13–15 may use only the limited guest-player experience to join a game whose room code they know. Google account linking, room hosting, public-template actions, purchases, the Shop, rewarded advertising and optional usage analytics are restricted to people aged 16 or older. Features that require consent use the applicable privacy choices. You must provide accurate age information, use a suitable player name, protect access to your Google account and take responsibility for activity performed through your account. If local law requires parental permission or an adult to enter a purchase agreement, you must obtain that permission. Knowing a room code does not guarantee that a host, participant or question is trustworthy or suitable; do not share private personal details in player names or answers.
Using Room4Quiz
Room4Quiz grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for lawful quiz play and creation. You must not disrupt rooms or services, bypass access or purchase controls, manipulate votes or reports, automate abusive requests, probe another user’s data, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or use Room4Quiz for illegal, deceptive, emergency, safety-critical or regulated decisions.
Your templates and license
You keep ownership of content you create. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. When you publish a template, you give Room4Quiz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, display and distribute that template within the service, and to screen, review or remove it for operation and moderation. This license ends when the public template is deleted, except for limited backups, reports, moderation records, legal obligations and material already lawfully retained by service providers.
Community rules for public templates
Public template names, descriptions, questions and answers must not contain or promote:
- child sexual abuse or exploitation, sexual content, or content intended for sexual gratification;
- harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or encouragement of violence or self-harm;
- personal, confidential or identifying information shared without permission;
- illegal or dangerous activities, scams, fraud, malware, or instructions intended to cause harm;
- spam, deceptive behavior, impersonation, manipulated engagement, or repeated irrelevant material;
- copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights violations; or
- content that otherwise violates Google Play policy or applicable law.
Do not submit false, retaliatory or coordinated reports. Reports should identify the most relevant reason and provide useful details when requested.
Moderation and enforcement
Room4Quiz uses automated wording checks, user reports and authorized human review. Users can report templates, hide templates and block creators. Moderators may review the full reported template, report reasons and supplied details, and may keep or permanently delete the template. We may limit reporting, restrict publishing or account access, preserve evidence, or take other proportionate action against repeated or serious violations. Automated checks reduce obvious abuse but cannot guarantee that all objectionable content is found.
Updated app versions provide a private Template decisions inbox on the home screen. When a reported public template is removed through the updated moderator flow, its creator receives the reason, the policy or legal basis, the decision date, the scope of removal and an appeal reference. These removals follow human review of user reports. The notice does not identify reporters or disclose internal moderator notes. It concerns the public template and does not itself suspend the account or remove other templates.
For an appeal or copyright/privacy complaint, email room4quiz.support@gmail.com with the decision reference where available, the template name or code, the account email where applicable, and a concise explanation. The inbox can open an email draft that you review and send yourself. We may request information needed to verify the request. Appeals receive human reconsideration. Because removed templates are deleted, reconsideration may require you to supply the original content for review and possible republication. This contact route does not limit other remedies available under applicable law.
Purchases, subscriptions and Shop Points
Digital purchases are processed by Google Play at the price and currency shown before purchase. Creator Pro is an optional monthly subscription; basic play is available without subscribing. It automatically renews at the recurring price shown by Google Play until cancelled there. Any free trial or introductory offer has the duration and subsequent recurring price shown before enrollment. Cancelling stops future renewal but normally leaves benefits available through the paid entitlement period. Deleting Room4Quiz or your Room4Quiz account does not cancel the Google Play subscription.
To manage or cancel, use Manage subscription in Room4Quiz’s Shop where available, or open Google Play with the Google account used for the purchase, choose Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select Room4Quiz and choose Cancel subscription. You can also open the Google Play Subscription Center. Cancellation of future renewal is separate from a request for a refund or a remedy for a faulty service. Follow Google Play’s refund instructions or contact Room4Quiz support; applicable statutory rights, including any rights to immediate cancellation or a refund, are preserved.
Shop Points are digital service credits, not money, and cannot be transferred, sold or redeemed for cash. Purchased or rewarded points do not expire under the current service rules. Points can be reserved for a waiting room and are spent when its game starts; reserved points are returned if that waiting room is deleted or expires before starting. Creator Pro may display Shop Points as unlimited while eligible subscription access is active; the stored balance remains and becomes applicable again when that access ends. Refunds, cancellations and statutory consumer rights are handled under Google Play rules and applicable law. Fraud, chargebacks or revoked purchases may result in entitlement or point adjustments.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep rooms, purchases and saved content available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features, limits and point costs may change for future use. We will not remove rights already required by applicable consumer law. Back up important quiz content separately where practical.
A Creator Pro purchase activates one Room4Quiz account. The Google Play account used to pay may differ from the email signed into Room4Quiz. To use Pro on several separate Room4Quiz accounts, each needs its own subscription purchase; switching accounts or restoring the same purchase does not share or transfer it. Updated app versions ask you to confirm the app email before checkout or assignment of an unassigned externally redeemed purchase. Earlier versions may assign such a purchase to the app account that first verifies it. Contact support if you believe a purchase was assigned to the wrong app account.
Suspension, deletion and ending use
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access, or remove content, for serious or repeated violations, security risks, fraud, legal requirements or risks to other users. Where appropriate, we will consider context and available appeal information. Account deletion is permanent and does not cancel an external Google Play subscription.
Liability and consumer rights
Room4Quiz is provided for entertainment and general quiz use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for user-created content, indirect losses, or interruptions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel when required.
Moderation-record retention
Under the updated retention process, routine moderation decision records are kept for six calendar months, starting from confirmed notification of a removal or from the review decision when a template is kept. Records needed for an active appeal or a specific legal case can be held longer with monthly review. These retention periods concern stored records and do not themselves limit legal rights or available remedies. See the Privacy Policy for the cleanup process.
